The Forum is a proper factual flagship of the BBC World Service. So I was incredibly honoured to be given a shot at presenting an episode after my first attempt about deep fakes.
This episode looks into how relationships with pets change across time and cultures. Are they our pets, or are we …their humans? We explore when and why some animals stopped being working helpers or even food and became our companions. Do fish have personalities? Can rabbits understand your moods? Would you rather be a street dog in India or a pampered pooch in the USA?
