Remembrance Assembly!

Zeb, Iszi, Sonali, Cornelia and Nav. Post broadcast. Sonali wins the shoe contest.

For Remembrance I took part in the Remembrance Assembly for the British Legion and National Literacy Trust. It was broadcast live to schools across the country, and it was only my second experience with live video broadcast (other than podcast recordings for Terrible Lizards). (My first was doing an interview on BBC 1 where I was supposed to be debating a Christian but we accidentally ended up agreeing with each other).

Anyway, I got to do my usual trick of getting into a Museum out of hours and showing off (the Imperial War Museum in this case). I also got to meet Matt Cook who was lovely and we bonded over the natural horror that is the camel spider.

I daresay I’ll have to edit a clip of this for the old show reel. But you can see me doing my action shots at about 3 mins in and again around 9 mins 50 seconds - there are other clips of me waving and chatting in the studio too.

Massive thanks to everyone (particularly Seren and Lara) for being so patient and lovely and also letting me plug educationally relevant Billie Swift Takes Flight on the socials.
