Roman Britain
In this episode of the Membercast I interview Sam Moorhead about the Roman fascination with Britain. Why did they bother invading us in the first places was it that we made great slaves, was it our lead, our silver, our cattle? Or was it our infamous barbarians?
So after talking about why they came we discuss why they left and what happened to Britain when the money stopped? The first Brexit did come back to bite us, but it took a couple of decades before the British peoples were pleading with Rome for assistance.
