Wonderful thing Christmas and where better to spend it than October in the Philippines? Manila not only has one of the largest populations of nocturnal call centre workers but it also is the Christmas capital of the world. Even if you don’t like Christmas there is a wonderful Casino, plenty of drink and the sort of smiles you never see on the London Underground.

Darren Harriott is one of those people it is so easy to spend time chatting to, effortlessly funny and quite convincing. The question is - will he convince Shaun to go?
